After having its subscriber base shoot up to as much as 700,000 a few months after release, the popular massively multiplayer online RPG Age of Conan isn't as massively multiplayer anymore. According to an estimate by E24, Age of Conan has no more than 100,000 subscribers left. More info inside.

We get to see the expansion teaser art too, as well as comparisons of Age of Conan on DirectX10 vs DirectX9. Plus a sneak peak at the free content that's coming within the next few months! Funcom product manager Erling Ellingsen in the Leipzig Games Convention reaffirmed that the upcoming Conan movie from Lionsgate will have some pretty close ties to their MMORPG, Age of Conan. Details are still sketchy, and they've a lot of hurdles to overcome yet.
